The client said no.
Not necessarily because it was bad. Maybe too early, too expensive, or because someone else got the budget.
We all have a folder full of ideas like that. We call it the graveyard, or the drawer, and we never open it.
Well, we open ours.
Here, a rejected idea is not a dead idea. It just doesn't have a client.
Welcome to Client Said No.
Who publishes it
Client Said No is published by an agency (Big Neurons, a brand content and acquisition agency) to empty its own drawer.
It is open to any agency, studio or freelancer who wants to open theirs.
bigneurons.comWe publish finished work that never ran: spec work for brands that never asked, ideas never pitched, lost pitches, routes killed by the client. No parodies, no student work, nothing that already ran in another form.
To submit a piece, one form is enough: no account, nothing to pay. We read it, we write back, we publish within two weeks. The brand can stay hidden.
Everyone is credited, name by name, with a link to their site. Each piece gets a permanent, indexed page you can quote, share or put in your portfolio. You can ask for it to be taken down at any time.
